Keith Guenther founded Wildland Solutions in 1997 after working for the USDA Forest Service in Montana, Idaho, Washington, Oregon and California. Keith has an extensive background in rangeland ecology, and administration of grazing and wildlife programs. He is both a Certified Rangeland Manager, licensed by the State of California (#040), and a TWS Certified Wildlife Biologist.
Wildland Solutions is devoted to providing high quality products and services that are practical and useful for owners and managers of rangeland resources. Products developed and currently available include the Monitoring Annual Grassland Residual Dry Matter (RDM) Photo-Guide and the Low Maintenance Roads field guide. Both publications communicate important concepts and information using easy to understand graphics and high quality photographs.
Rangeland assessments conducted by Wildland Solutions are tailored to the needs of the individual situation. A Geographic Information System (GIS) database can be developed that includes traditional facilities inventories of fences, water developments and roads, as well as a forage monitoring program with identified key areas for monitoring residual forage. All information is collected and displayed using easy to read maps and summary tables of key information.
